About the organizers

China Agricultural University (CAU) is one of the top ranked key national universities in China. It is one of the universities listed in 211 and 985 Projects and directly subordinated to the Ministry of Education of P.R.China. Students in CAU have free choices to enroll in more than 60 Undergraduate Specialties, around 140 Masters Programs and more than 80 Doctoral Programs if qualified. The student population continues to rise with more than 70,000 students currently enrolled.

CAU is authorized to award academic degrees at BSc, MSc, PhD and Post-PhD levels. The Undergraduate Program is organized within one of the 19 colleges, and Masters and Doctoral Programs are conducted under the direction of the Graduate School, which is the first graduate school of its kind among all agricultural universities in China.

College of Horticulture has 5 Key Laboratories or Research Centers, including Stress Physiology Lab of Fruit Trees: A Key Laboratory for Basic Research of Beijing Municipality, Beijing Key Laboratory of Growth and Developmental Regulation for Protected Vegetable Crops, Key Laboratory of Biology and Genetic Improvement of Horticultural (Nutrition and Physiology),  Beijing Key Laboratory of Development and Quality Control of Ornamental Crops, Fruit Tree Breeding Engineering Technology Research Center.

Horticulture Research is an online-only, open access international journal devoted to publishing original research results and reviews on but not limited to: genetics, genomics and breeding, biotechnology, biochemistry, physiology, cellular and molecular biology, evolution, and environmental biology of horticultural plants. The journal is published by Springer Nature in partnership with Nanjing Agricultural University. The journal also publishes News and Views on current events and hot topics in global horticultural fields. The journal aims to become a highly respected and trusted resource of cutting-edge information in the field of horticulture.
